critte exclusion
Critter Exclusion:

We install time-tested, high-integrity securements for effective, lasting, permanent relief.

  • Time-tested remedies

  • High-integrity securement of foundation and attic vents, crawl-space door mends, or complete rebuilds

  • Reinforce original construction “soft spots” or potential alternative entry/reentry points

  • Secure aged or weather-damaged construction, burrowing-prevention barriers (subterranean barriers), roof eaves and roof eave convergences, chimneys, deck perimeters, patios, hot tub enclosures/surrounds and all types of outbuildings

  • Performed with high attention to detail, workmanship, and aesthetics

  • Always considerate and respectful of surrounding areas (plants, flower beds, and personal property items)

  • Clean, well-kept work sites

  • Finalize all work with every possible effort to appear as if I had never been there

*Special note: If a determined critter makes up its mind to take advantage of shelter on your property, that animal isn't limited by the building codes that contractors must follow. Their physical and intellectual attributes require that a higher standard needs to be put in place to discourage them. A thorough understanding of what a critter's capable of is essential for successful exclusionary efforts. It's a jungle out there, and it’s time to draw your line in the sand and exclusion efforts are that line in the sand.

critter eviction
Critter Eviction:

We guarantee the eviction of all applicable critters from within your structures. No part of a critter’s occupation of your home is more important than the eviction process and getting them ALL out before finally securing the structure. It’s the part most overlooked by do-it-yourselfers, and it should always be performed by a professional. It’s also the part that, if done incorrectly, can make the problem exponentially worse.

I take pride in ensuring my eviction processes include ALL the occupants, including unsuspecting ones, even a neighbor’s cat. Newborns can be too young to even be able to reveal their presence. Safely, effectively, and humanely removing critters from inside a structure is my primary focus. These methods and the entire approach are strictly opposed to trapping (which legally means the critters are to be either euthanized or released directly where they were trapped). The critters are evicted from their source of shelter and locked out with the exclusionary work I perform. They are free to go on their way, outside of the home or structure. I have performed evictions literally thousands of times, and there's not one textbook approach for every case. Each eviction is a unique undertaking.

carcass removal
Carcass Removal:

We remove wildlife or domestic carcasses, including proper disposal and sanitation. Critters that have access to a structure can end up dying under or inside the structure. Their death can be from old age, disease, or a mortal wound from a fight with other critters. This can be a nasty intrusion to you, the human occupant. You may detect an extremely foul and unpleasant odor from decomposition, notice a sudden infestation of flies, or even see predators that are attracted to the dead critter.

Oh, the stories I could tell you! I have removed carcasses from the darkest and dirtiest corners of structures. To name a few, I’ve removed critter carcasses from:

  • Inside bathtub cavities

  • Inside blown-in or batten insulation

  • Attics

  • Crawl-space subfloors

  • Under sheds and outbuildings

  • Under decks

  • Within hot tub enclosures

  • Yards and surrounding curtilages.

And worry not! I provide cleanup of the site as well as the surrounding area.

trapping
Trapping:

We trap critters humanely and ethically, following all state and local guidelines, laws, and regulations. Although it’s usually the first remedy people think of for any critter causing any kind of problem, trapping should always be a last resort. It can deliver very direct results, but often tends to be a “band-aid” approach–and usually a costly one. This can be attributed to unintentional trapping (and charging for) untargeted critters.

Trapping can be like a recurring nightmare. The unfortunate scenario goes a bit like this: Something lures a critter or group of critters to your property, like accessible food, shelter, or water. You hire a trapper, who removes the critters (usually charging for each animal). The luring food or shelter remains, so it’s just a matter of time before other critters are attracted to your property. You hire the trapper again to resume another trapping effort. This becomes cyclical, and you can turn into a residual source of income for a trapper.

Again, trapping should always be a last resort. When I do prescribe trapping, experience allows me to concentrate my efforts toward the targeted critter in question, as much as possible, with  1) trap location, 2) trap presentation 3) bait selection, and other trade secret efforts.

bird abatement

We offer netting, bird spikes, and general proofing on structures from single-family homes to commercial buildings. Critter Getter uses quality materials that hold up and remain effective for many years. These methods are best used to eliminate nesting and roosting spots, including, but not limited to:

  • Roof eave convergences

  • Carports

  • Above walkways

  • Entry areas

  • Window ledges

  • Attics
